Telehealth Visits FAQ
How Our Online Evaluations Work
Getting started is simple and discreet. Instead of a video call, you complete a secure online health form at your convenience. A licensed clinician then reviews your information asynchronously to determine the best care plan for your needs, providing a flexible way to manage your health without the need for an appointment.
Clinician Review & Approval
Every request is reviewed by a licensed clinician to ensure treatment is safe and appropriate. They evaluate your medical history and symptoms before approving or recommending a plan. Please note that an upfront fee is collected for this professional clinical review, whether or not medication is ultimately prescribed.
Guidance for In-Person Care
If clinical guidelines require in-person treatment—such as intramuscular treatment for gonorrhea—our clinicians will not prescribe online. Instead, we provide professional, discreet guidance and a referral for in-person care to ensure you receive the specific treatment your condition demands.
Privacy and Confidentiality
Data Protection
We prioritize your security by utilizing industry-leading, HIPAA-compliant platforms. Every telehealth visit and medical record is protected by high-level encryption to ensure your health information remains completely private and secure.
Confidentiality of Results
Your privacy extends to your diagnostics. Lab results and treatment plans are never shared through unsecured channels; they are sent directly and exclusively to your personal secure patient portal for your review only.

Prescriptions & Labs
We provide confidential, evidence-based evaluation and testing for common sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and vaginal health concerns. Services are delivered through a secure telehealth model, with testing and treatment recommended only when clinically appropriate.
STI screening may include evaluation for:
-
Chlamydia
-
Gonorrhea
-
Trichomonas
-
Herpes simplex virus (HSV-1 / HSV-2)*
-
HIV and syphilis (when appropriate)
Vaginal health and vaginitis evaluation may include:
-
Bacterial vaginosis (BV)
-
Vaginal yeast infections (Candida)
-
Mixed or recurrent vaginitis symptoms
Testing recommendations are based on your symptoms, history, and risk factors. Laboratory testing is completed through accredited third-party laboratories, with all orders reviewed and approved by you before being placed.
*Routine herpes blood screening is not recommended in all cases and is offered only when clinically appropriate.
If your treatment requires medication, electronic prescriptions are sent directly to your local pharmacy when clinically appropriate. When screening or diagnostic testing is needed, lab orders are provided for use at accredited third-party collection centers in your area.
Some conditions require in-person treatment based on current clinical guidelines. If this applies to your results (such as infections requiring injectable medication), you will be guided to appropriate local care, such as an urgent care clinic or health department, to ensure timely and effective treatment.
State Availability
Services are provided in states where the provider is licensed to practice. Eligibility is confirmed during our secure, HIPAA-compliant booking process based on your current location. We follow all applicable state telehealth laws to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality care.
